Memphis City Schools System: Second Highest in the US in Charter School Growth.

A recent National Alliance for Public Charter Schools (NAPCS) study has shown that the Memphis City Schools (MCS) System has the second highest growth of charter school student enrollment of any district in the United States.  Student enrollment in charter schools in MCS increased from 3,822 in the 2009-2010 academic year to 5,405 in 2010-2011.    This 41% enrollment growth was topped only by Orange County, California.  Click the link below to download the full report.
