Ivy Academy is one of two public charter schools approved to begin operation in August of 2009. Ivy Academy will ultimately serve grades 9-12, and it will become Tennessee's first all-green public charter school by incorporating environmentally themed education in all of its curricula. With over two decades of education leadership behind the approval process, great things are expected. Applications for enrollment are being taken for those students entering 9th grade in August.
